SIRANA

"Why do I sense it's not your first time..." He paused, studying her intently. "You seem to have done this before. It's as if you're an expert at it."

"How?" Her voice slightly faltered. Fear gripped her, worried he might uncover her secret. They had warned her that anyone could read her emotions easily, that her eyes were an open book.

"Is this your first assignment?" Lloyd asked for the third time. "Not everyone would consider working in a place like this. Most people don't even know such places exist in the country."

A long, tense silence hung in the air.

"Who referred you?" He suddenly asked, his gaze piercing through her. She possessed the perfect figure; impeccable posture, ample hips, average height, and modestly sized breasts, he observed.

"My brother," she replied, feigning gutlessness.

"HA!" He exclaimed. "So, it's not your first time, then."

Reluctantly, Sirana nodded in agreement.

"Well, I did my own investigation," he tilted his laptop on the desk toward her. "Your first mission commands a significant payout because it's quite a challenging task," he absentmindedly traced a finger behind his left ear.

Letting out a deep sigh, she impatiently asked, "What is it?"

She had such a sweet, angelic voice... husky and somewhat deep. That was what he found enticing, his own definition of 'sexy,' although he suppressed the wide grin that threatened to spread across his face.

"Vatican City. You're to kill the Pope," he leaned in closer, his towering height making her even more nervous. "We don't want an easy job. Make it brutal... all the necessary arrangements have already been taken care of. You'll depart today and carry it out the day after. Sunday. The perfect day," he emphasized.

She slowly nodded again, "Okay."

As he turned to leave, he added, "And by the way... we've watched your videos, I'd call them your resume," she felt the extremities of his sinister grin press against her back.

"You're exceptionally skilled at what you do... my favorite scenes were when you engaged intimately with those people after murdering and decapitating them. You're certainly a naughty girl," he slurred, "appearing so innocent. Unassuming and swift like a bird, dark and unpredictable. Very beautiful, and your voluptuous figure stands out."

He sank into a chair tucked away in the corner of the room. "Perhaps someday, we should catch up," he let out a one-sided, malicious smile, and Sirana frowned in disgust.

Such despicable behavior, she thought to herself. "Jerk," she muttered under her breath as she left his office.
